Why FidLoop exists
Most loyalty apps sit between a restaurant and its customers. They take a cut, push the diner's data into their own database, and try to become the brand on top of the brand. Paper punch cards aren't much better, they get lost, forgotten, or thrown away.
We at FidLoop think the relationship between a restaurant and the diners who love it is too valuable to hand over to a third party. So we built the platform that lets every restaurant run its own loyalty program directly, without building any of it themselves.
What we're building
A direct line between merchant and customer. No aggregators, no platform skim, no algorithm deciding who sees what offer. The restaurant sets the rewards, the diner earns them, and the relationship belongs to both of them.
A loyalty program for every restaurant, not just chains. Setting up loyalty used to mean a project: an IT vendor, integration work, monthly fees, hardware. We collapsed all of it into a single app the owner can configure in minutes. Every café, pizzeria, and family bistro gets the same toolkit a chain has.
Every loyalty card in one place. Customers shouldn't need a new app per restaurant. FidLoop is one app that holds every restaurant's points, in one place, with one identity.
What we believe
- A restaurant should own its customer relationships, not the platforms in between
- A loyalty program should be simple enough that your favourite café can run one
- Customer data is the customer's data, that's why we put account deletion and full data export on the public website, not buried in a support form
- A direct connection between customer and merchant is what gives every engagement its meaning. Offers, reminders and rewards reflect intent on both sides: the merchant chose to send them, and the customer remains in control of how to respond. We facilitate the relationship rather than engineer engagement on top of it.
