Careers at FidLoop
Loyalty Economist
Remote / EU
Design the economics behind points and rewards at global retail scale.
Rewards programs only work when the underlying economics work. You will own how points are issued, redeemed, valued and reconciled across thousands of independent merchants. The role sits at the intersection of macroeconomics, consumer behaviour and product design, and is core to how FidLoop scales without unwinding partner economics.
What you will do
- Model the economics of points issuance, redemption rates, liability and merchant cost
- Design reward structures that work for independent restaurants and global retail at the same time
- Set guardrails and pricing that keep the platform sustainable as it grows internationally
- Advise leadership on macro trends in loyalty, payments and consumer rewards programs
What we're looking for
- Background in economics, quantitative finance, payments, or large-scale retail loyalty
- Experience modelling reward programs, points liability, or merchant funded incentives at scale
- Comfortable communicating quantitative work to product, engineering and operating teams
- Curiosity about how loyalty programs work across markets, cultures and currencies
